Misty was surrendered after being hit by a car. Her left hind leg has severe injuries but there are no broken bones. Her previous owner did not want to keep her because of her recovery period and potential inablitity to hunt. Regarding her back leg, although there is significant damage to the tissue it will heal but she may need surgery on her hock (ankle) down the road. She is currently being treated with antibiotics and frequent bandage changes. Misty is a very sweet and loving dog in need of a permanent home.
